We did the engagement photography in a few different locations such as The Race Street Pier, Penn’s Landing, Headhouse Square and South Street. Everywhere we turned, there were great settings. Even got to meet Charlie the poodle as he was being walked by his owner. So here are a few “teaser” images. But the best is yet to come, Lisa and Luke!
Saturday started out as a cloudy and dreary day with threats of rain at any time. Fortunately, we were able to work literally in between rain drops as we headed over to Rivercrest Golf Club before the ceremony. Here is one of my personal faves of Melissa and Derek taken shortly after a rain shower.
Another wonderful wedding day in the Philadelphia suburbs as Eileen Fleury and Eric Ladzinski tied the knot at Saint Bede’s church in Holland PA. And this Philadelphia wedding photographer was there to record the entire event. The ceremony was officiated by Eileens uncle who is a priest in the military. I always thought it was very special to have a relative perform the ceremony. Something unique and very personal.
Afterwards, in between a handful of raindrops, we headed over to the always beautiful Talamore Country Club. Even though it was threatening to rain any minute, the weather cooperated. Then in for the celebration as we were greeted by the sights and sounds of Synergetic Sounds . They did an incredible job with the lighting, keeping with the purple color theme. Adding to the day and keeping with the color scheme, Valleygreen Flowers and Gifts provided beautiful bouquets and arrangements.
When Philadelphia residents Chanelle Bailey and John Darden first started to plan their wedding, they thought June 1 would be a great time to avoid midsummers heat and humidity. Well, even the best laid plans can sometimes go awry as the mercury soared into the 90’s. Not a problem for this Philadelphia wedding photographer . Fortunately, the inside as well as the outside of The Cairnwood Estate serve as exquisite settings for anything photographic. Chanelle looked fabulous in her gown by Bijou Bridal of Ardmore and she wore it well. Chanelle’s bouquet by Offshoots Decor provided a wonderful accent to her gown as well as for the bridesmaids and all the key family members. They also were instrumental in the table decor and throughout the estate. Entertainment by DJ Oz kept everyone dancing to some great tunes.
